Connor Hyatt
I'm the founder and CTO of Lunon, the firm rewiring business for the age of AI. We're backed by General Catalyst and SV Angel. I'm also a Z Fellow.
I had brief stints as an Information Systems & AI student at Carnegie Mellon, Data Analyst at Symetra, Founder at Team RobotiX, and Software Developer for LangChain.
My life's goal is to forge my century in intelligence as Carnegie did in steel, and to leave behind the institutions that raise the next. I also enjoy reading, and design.

Design
I believe design is a form of empathy. You can't make something good for people without understanding how they think.
Writing
- Build in San Francisco, sell in New York (October 3, 2026): Seven months in San Francisco, a stop in Pittsburgh, and a move to New York. One city is for building. The other is for living, and for selling what you built.
- The semester I left (January 11, 2026): My last semester at Carnegie Mellon, two term project wins, a raise nobody knew about, and why I would rather own the outcome either way.
- Five thousand hours (September 17, 2025): Between 2019 and 2021 I put more than 5,000 hours into competitive Fortnite. Most of that time I wouldn't spend again. The lessons I wouldn't trade.
- Forty-three quintillion (September 12, 2025): I solved Rubik's Cubes for a decade before I ever opened LeetCode. It turned out I had been training for it the whole time.
